Helping Artichokes Go Digital
Our strategy team determined that we had two main challenges: to modernize a brand with a rich legacy and to give artichokes hero status while also promoting the brand’s 33+ other veggies.
We created one site featuring the Ocean Mist brand story and full product line, along with a second site dedicated to the amazing artichoke with beautiful photography and more than 400 delicious recipes. Site visitors could rate the recipes, submit their own dish, or “ask the chef” for advice. Our UX teams gave each site a streamlined design and we built them on Wordpress so Ocean Mist’s internal brand team could make easy updates.
The website attracted 75,000 unique visitors in just 3 months, the Artichoke Club has almost 40,000 members, and the brand is stronger than ever. Long live the artichoke!
